Camille Louis is a doctor of philosophy and a playwright. She teaches regularly at the universities of Paris 8 and Paris 7. In 2009 she co-created, with Laurie Bellanca, the interdisciplinary collective kom.post with which she multiplies dramaturgical creations between several countries and within various contexts (theatres, public space , alternate scenes, etc.). Since 2016 she has been an associate playwright at La Bellone, Brussels and was at the Nanterre-Amandiers theater between 2018 and 2021 where she notably developed a cycle of encounters at the crossroads of aesthetics and politics: "Possible Worlds". Artists, activists, actors of the territory, thinkers and thinkers meet there, in a principle of shared heterogeneity and equality of intelligence.

These crossings of worlds and the improbable alliances that are woven there are the raw material of research, writing and activism of Camille Louis. They are embodied just as much in his creations, his essays, his first book The Children's Conspiracy (published in the Perspectives critiques des PUF collection in October 21), and in her strong commitment to exiled people that she leads between Greece (Lesbos and Athens) and France (in particular with the association La casa).

She works on the “factories of the possible” that are established, in a wild or instituted way, by the “groups-subjects” who regain autonomy in the face of the logic of confiscation, in discussion with the “fabulous techniques” studied in this project. Indeed, her research and work carried out with solidarity initiatives, mutual aid structures and the recomposition of the common (not Comme Un), make her focus less on diagnosing reality than on... fabricating it. That is to say, to try, from concrete elements observed in its fields of investigation, to stretch their possibilities, to extend them in narrative hypotheses that intersect reality and potential. It's not about imagination, it's about what Gilles Deleuze can call "fabulatory memory" and that Camille Louis activates as a form of resistance to the erasure of minor stories. In his writings, they become above all the actresses and actors who “smallly”, “humbly” recompose worlds to the very point where it seems to be collapsing.
