Switzerland, France

big_YASMINE-HUGONNET.jpg

Yasmine Hugonnet is a dancer and choreographer. She is interested in the relationship between form, image and sensation, in the germination of the imagination, in the (de)-construction of choreographic language, in the process of incarnation and appropriation. In recent years, she has deepened her work on the movement of attention, the idea of posture as a reservoir and, through her choreographic processes, has developed a practice of ventriloquism.

Mathieu Bouvier has already produced certain elements of analysis on the work of Yasmine Hugonnet as part of his doctoral thesis, as well as in an interview with the artist published in the magazine Watt in 2017: “ Knowledge by the chasms Â».

He also participates in the cycle of art/science encounters entitled “ games of perception Â», proposed by Yasmine Hugonnet and Charlotte Imbault at the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts in Lausanne in 2022, with Platform 10.
